Thanks for the comment on the cartoon blog - just found it. Like your original youtube.
Tips for cartoon blog - if you get an idea for a joke, scribble it down fast. It's best to make a series of one or two characters, but one off cartoons are more flexible.
Get into the habit of sketching everything to build up visual memory - especially figures.
